In five years, nearly 80 percent of all job openings will require more than a high school
degree. Adult education provides a significant opportunity to bridge the
workforce supply-and-demand gap.

RSU 13 Adult and Community Education helps individuals increase their skills in order to increase their employability!  Our customized technology support and Digital Literacy course, High School Completion, College Transitions, English Language Learning classes, and career guidance all have an employment focus.  In addition to building skills, we connect our learners to employers through job fairs, mock interviews with actual HR people, and job shadowing opportunities.

This week is National Adult and Family Literacy Week promoting awareness and advocacy for those whose literacy skill level causes them to struggle.  For more information on National AEFL Week, check out our partners at COABE.

Check out our courses HERE. If you have any questions you can just give us a call at 594-9764, we’d be happy to chat. Thank you. Stay well.
